The True Blood fans won the last vote. It’s time to vote on some new flavors and the winner will make its debut just in time for Halloween.

Trick-or-Treat Surprise! – Your trick-or-treat bag was never so full! We have loaded our signature Vanilla ice cream full of Oreo cookies, Twix, Butterfinger, Nestle Crunch and Snicker bars, M&M’s and Reese’s Pieces!

Berry Nerdy – A somewhat tart Blue Raspberry Sherbet with Nerds candy sprinkled throughout. The kids will be out of control!

Pretzel Logic – Something sweet, something salty…what could be more enticing?! We’ve combined our signature Vanilla ice cream with the best chocolate covered pretzels we could find and then thrown in some Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips and a peanut butter swirl!

Mexican Chocolate Olé was the clear winner in the last poll. Watch for it to make its debut August 1.

We’ve got three new flavors that we need our fans to vote on. This round of voting closes August 15 and the winner will be available September 1.

Pina Colada – “If you like Pina Coladas, and gettin’ caught in the rain,” then all of you Parrot Heads will love this concoction. Pure ripe coconut and coconut milk, fresh pineapple and of course, a splash o’ rum. Hey Mon!

Apricot Brandy Alexander the Great – A comfy twist on a classic. Creme de Cacoa, our signature creamy all natural Vanilla, and instead of Brandy, we’ve used Apricot Brandy for a fruity twist. Doesn’t that sound Great?

True Blood Orange Saffron – Sink your teeth into a succulent blend of Blood Orange, a more flavorful and aromatic version of the original, and the spicy and sweet hay-like honey taste of the world’s most expensive spice, saffron. “I vunt to suck your Blood Orange.”

Three new flavors. Only one winner.

  • True Blood Orange Saffron (44%, 104 Votes)
  • Apricot Brandy Alexander The Great (16%, 37 Votes)
  • Pina Colada Oh My Goda (40%, 96 Votes)

Ice Cream for BreakfastJuly is National Ice Cream Month and The Comfy Cow is partnering with Give Kids The World for our first Ice Cream for Breakfast Day on Saturday, July 10th. Ice Cream For Breakfast is a unique, annual awareness and fundraising campaign inspired by a family who stayed at Give Kids The World Village during their child’s Wish trip. They decided to celebrate one of their favorite memories from that trip – having ice cream for breakfast at The Ice Cream Palace. Several local families have also had the joy of experiencing this wonderful place of hope and inspiration.

So come on out Saturday morning, July 10th, to The Comfy Cow from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and get a “Scoop of Hope” to support this wonderful organization that helps families with children battling life-threatening illnesses, enjoy magical memories to treasure. A percentage of all sales during this event will be donated to Give Kids the World. Donations will also be accepted.

You can find out more ways to help at icecreamforbreakfast.org.

Seussical, the Musical

Bring the kids out to next Friday, June 25 at 7:00 p.m. to meet characters from CenterStage’s production of “Seussical, the Musical.”

The story centers around Horton the Elephant, who finds himself faced with a double challenge. Not only must he protect his tiny friend Jojo and all the people of Whoville from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left to his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the courageous Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him, the only one who recognizes his kind, powerful heart. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant in a story that will make all ages laugh and cry.

Ticket and performance information is available from the CenterStage website.
