We at The Comfy Cow believe we have an obligation to act responsibly toward the environment we live in. Towards that end, we recycle all plastic and glass bottles, all eat-in items are served in non-disposable glassware or china and to-go items are packaged in biodegradable containers with compostable utensils made from 100% non-GMO corn starch PLA resin.

Can u buy ice cream by the gallon? A July party (wedding shower) is in the planning and just heard "Bourbon Ball" is coming back.
Have you looked into Snowyville farms? The are out of Ohio but close to KY. The have great milk as well as half and half and whipping cream. they are not huge so I am not sure if they would be of help but it is a great grass fed hormone free option if they would. I have purchased their milk at Whole foods. Just thought I would throw it out there for you.
Point taken. We have sourced the best ingredients available to us at this time and are committed to maintaining, and improving whenever possible, our sustainability practices. We are thrilled that our customers share our enthusiasm. Thank you.

"All natural" is a very ambiguous term. Is the dairy that you source rBGH and hormone free? What about antibiotics used on the cows? The main question is the type of conditions the dairy cows are raised in as this plays a large part in the environmental impact of the dairy production. That is crucial to the idea of sustainability.
The product is all natural and Kosher certified. The mix comes from Illinois...we were unable to find a product locally that would meet our standards and actually, no dairy in Kentucky that produced an ice cream mix. It is not organic.
Everything sounds delicious & I love the sustainability practices you're using, but I'd really like to know about how you're sourcing your milk. Is it local? Organic? Etc.

Hey Kathy,
We do sell by the quart. We also, depending on the number of people, work
out larger quantities. We recently catered a wedding of about 200 guests
with a sundae bar. You can phone either me or Roy at 439-9650 or 439-8796.
